Consspek was founded in 2016 with a specific thesis: most small businesses are underserved by large accounting firms and overcharged by generalist bookkeepers. The work deserves genuine expertise and continuity.
That means you speak to the same person who filed your last return, knows your entity structure, and understands your business rhythm. Handoffs between junior staff are not part of how we work.
We take on new clients twice a year, in January and July, and keep the total roster below thirty engagements at any given time.

Accuracy over speed
We turn things around on time, but we do not rush. A filing that needs to be amended costs more than one done carefully the first time.
Plain language
Tax code is complex. Our explanations are not. Every deliverable comes with a plain-language summary you can actually use.
No surprises
We flag issues early. If something needs to change in your structure, your deductions, or your reporting, you hear about it before it becomes a problem.
Fixed fees
Hourly billing creates the wrong incentives. Our engagements are priced annually, upfront, so there is no reason to avoid a call.
